Executive Head Chef at Pench Jungle Camp is Chef Samta Gupta
She started her career as a restaurateur and chef as soon as she completed her graduation at the Institute of Hotel Management, Calcutta. Her first assignment was to curate an Indian Food Festival in Kobe, Japan. The festival was received extremely well. She returned to India and immediately joined the Taj Group of Hotels. Her years with the Taj Group gave her the experience to start her own venture.
Over the past two decades She have worked in many kitchens around the world. At the end of the day, nothing gives her more pleasure than getting the chefs white's on and simply mixing a bowl of ingredients with her hands. She strongly feel it’s her cosmic connection to food and a childlike bliss that She finds while cooking, which has tied her to the food industry permanently.
